If you’re a professional in the agriculture, water, or environmental tech industries, you’re invited to the California Workforce Environmental and Sustainability Roundtable on January 27th at Mission College in Santa Clara.
The goal of the discussion is to identify the educational needs and gaps in these industries, in order to provide the best preparation for a skilled workforce. Right now, many of these industries are facing a shortage of talent as older professionals retire. What kind of training does the next generation of workers need to succeed? Come to the event and share your thoughts and expertise.
The event is organized by the California Community Colleges’ Agriculture, Water and Environmental Technology (AWET) program. Those working in industry, government, and education are all invited to attend. The event is free, but registration is required. Register via Eventbrite.
