As Sustainable Silicon Valley’s 4th annual winter water event, No Drop Left Behind: Smart and Sustainable Water Strategies approaches, we at SSV would like to remind our readers and colleagues in sustainable water resource management, of just how unique and worthwhile the opportunity to attend this event is.
No Drop Left Behind will feature a lineup of distinguished speakers, including water and sustainability experts from Stanford University, leadership of tech companies engaged in innovative water conservation work, and civic leaders who make decisions on water resource matters in the Bay Area.
Our highly qualified speakers spanning academia, private sector technology pioneers, and local government, will tackle a range of pertinent topics, including the implications of climate change for water supply, innovative financing solutions, the water-energy nexus, and regulatory barriers. Best-case water reuse projects will also be explored for a number of applications, including large municipal systems, tech campuses, small cost effective installations, and affordable housing solutions.
We at SSV anticipate that No Drop Left Behind attendees will benefit from the holistic coverage of issues made possible by our decision to select speakers across multiple mediums: academic, corporate, and policy.
No Drop Left Behind is also unique in that the event will bring over 200 water resource professionals together in the same building! SSV realizes that this presents a great networking opportunity, and so we have structured the event to provide maximum opportunity for attendees to interact. Networking opportunities will include lunch with table seating, scheduled networking breaks, an interactive table discussion, and a wine and beer reception.
Based on our past winter water events, one can expect to have the opportunity to network with water reuse technology providers, design and engineering firms, developers and property managers, tech companies, sustainable facility professionals, city and county level decision makers, regulators, and water experts.
SSV’s past water events have had overwhelmingly positive reviews based on our survey responses, with 90% of attendees citing the event as “highly exceeding expectations” or being “above expectations.”
