Mary has six years experience in earth sciences academia and industry. She has worked on several projects in the field of geology in central India and eastern U.S. Previously, she worked as a geoscientist in India and later moved to the U.S. to pursue research in Appalachian Tectonics. During her research she gave several public talks at geoscience conferences and published her work online. She graduated with a Master’s degree from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville in 2015. She is motivated by climate change solutions and their impact in protecting the planet. Through her professional course she wants to make a difference by facilitating low carbon solutions, promoting renewable energy and taking part in climate policy management. She aims to pursue her career in the clean energy and carbon mitigation sector. Previously she worked at the Indian Institute of Science-Bangalore and holds her first Master’s degree from Indian Institute of Technology-Bombay.
