Sustainable Silicon Valley joins the Northern California Facilities Expo, a 2-day event being held from September 21 to September 22, 2016, at the Santa Clara Convention Center, Santa Clara, CA.
The event facilitates an opportunity to experience first-hand a number of innovative Silicon Valley technologies and exhibits on energy-efficiency and sustainability areas. Here’s your chance to learn about the new products and services and find solutions to environmental concerns including energy and water management — two of the relevant themes closely interlinked with SSV’s Net Positive Bay Area goals.
5 Reasons Why You Shouldn’t Miss the Northern California Facilities Expo
1. Admission to the Exhibit Floor and Conferences is FREE
You get informational and educational benefits similar to those of national shows, but without the attendance fees, and without incurring airfare and hotel expenses. The Santa Clara Convention Center is a venue that is convenient and user-friendly for attendees.
2. Meet with Exhibitors
Our show floor will have exhibits in a wide variety of categories including energy management, HVAC, predictive maintenance, electrical systems, water conservation, lighting, software, safety, and more – staffed by experts who can answer your technical questions. From the floor to the roof, our exhibitors have you covered.
3. Innovative Technologies Pavilion
In Silicon Valley, it’s all about being innovative. Visit our Innovative Technologies Pavilion on the show floor to learn about new products and exciting technologies you can apply at your facility.
4. Educational Conference Sessions
Topics include building enclosure testing, Title 24-2016, facilities project management, ultrasonic testing, water audits, safety training, and case histories about green building projects at San Francisco International Airport and the Exploratorium at Pier 15. Continuing education credits available for LEED Professionals.
5. Managing Green Buildings
The Managing Green Buildings portion of Facilities Expo will help you get up to speed on products and services that can help save energy and water; meet energy and environmental regulations; apply toward LEED, Living Building Challenge or ENERGY STAR certification; qualify your facility for utility rebates, and more. Along with the designated Managing Green Buildings section of the show floor, at least half of the educational seminars in the conference focus on energy-efficiency and sustainability.
The trade show aims to bring industry experts and facilities professionals together so you can gain a broad base of knowledge about trends, technicalities, and challenges, with an understanding that you’re not alone in this. Mark your calendars; your attendance can make a big difference in turning ideas into best practices. SSV is one of the many organizations sponsoring the event.
